Sarah Coli, Esq. works with cross-functional internal teams to implement paid family and medical statutory policies in emerging market states. In conjunction with state and national trade associations, she works with legislators and insurance and labor regulators to help stand up new statutory programs and help to ensure the programs’ continued success and maintenance.
Prior to joining ShelterPoint, Sarah was the Government Affairs Counsel at Professional Insurance Agents. Outside of the office, Sarah is an active Board of Directors member of a local animal rescue, Feline Advocates Coming Together, which is also where she adopted her best friend, Hudson. She is also a member of the local Toastmasters chapter, as well as a volunteer with the Girls Scouts of Northeastern New York. She holds a B.A. from SUNY Plattsburgh and received her JD at Western New England University, School of Law.
Brooks Wright has worked in the Employee Benefits industry since 2009. He is experienced as both a broker working with small to medium size employers, and on the carrier side of the industry, focused on state-mandated Paid Leave benefits. In his role as a broker, he assisted New York employers with the implementation of Paid Family Leave in 2018.
In his role as a Senior Broker Manager with ShelterPoint he focuses on assisting brokers with the implementation of Paid Leave in new markets.
Nate Howell has been in the insurance industry since 2003 and employee benefits since 2017. He has had various roles including managing a voluntary benefits team in New England as well as brokering MA & CT employee benefits.
As the Regional Sales Manager - New England for ShelterPoint, Nate is responsible for driving sales growth, managing client/broker relationships, and overseeing the sales operations within New England. His role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, working closely with brokers to extend our impact, and achieving revenue targets.
Dominik Kolodziejczyk is Associate Counsel at ShelterPoint, where he advises on legal and compliance matters. He works closely with trade associations to develop statutory benefit programs and monitors regulatory changes that impact the company's products.
Before joining ShelterPoint, he spent five years as Policy Advisor for the Wisconsin State Assembly Health Committee, focusing on healthcare and insurance issues. He also has legislative and regulatory experience with the Massachusetts legislature and the city councils of New York and Boston.
Dominik graduated from Dartmouth College and Boston University School of Law and is admitted to practice in New York and Massachusetts.
Rick Cronin is a 25+ year Insurance Industry professional working closely with agents, GA’s and carrier partners in providing companies with a Private Plan option for state-mandated Paid Family and Medical Leave
Rick is a graduate of CU Boulder and married with 3 children (all in college). He is based in Colorado covering the Western United States.
Rebecca is Lead Associate of Product Management at ShelterPoint Life Insurance Company, focusing on state-mandated paid leave. In her nearly 18 years of service with ShelterPoint, she has held a variety of roles within the operations and technology areas of the organization. In her prior role as Assistant Vice President of Claims , she was responsible for the successful implementation and execution of NY Paid Family Leave (2018), rapid implementation and response relating to Covid-19 related leaves, and integration of new Paid Leave states (CT, MA).
Rebecca holds several industry-relevant professional designations including an Associate Disability Management Specialist (ADMS) designation from Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC), and the Certified Leave Management Specialist (CLMS) designation from the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC).
She is passionate about the paid leave landscape and educating workers and employers on these essential benefits. Rebecca resides on Long Island, NY with her husband and their 2 children, ages 8 and 11.
Simon is a versatile insurance and business development executive with over 25 years of experience driving strategic growth, revenue expansion, and operational excellence across group benefits and P&C insurance markets. Over the past 15 years with ShelterPoint Life, he has become a trusted national resource in Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) products. He has built enduring distribution partnerships, developed high-performing sales and implementation teams, and executed transformative initiatives. He continuously has demonstrated an ability to combine technical product knowledge with market insight to deliver innovative solutions that scale business and improve profitability. When not having fun with PFML, he enjoys extended weekends on the North Fork of Long Island with his wife Donna, playing golf, bird watching, and attending NY Ranger games.
Simon resides in Port Washington, NY.
