Prepare for DE PFML:
A Webinar for Brokers

Delaware’s Paid Family & Medical Leave Program begins paying claims for benefits on January 1, 2026 — and with the start of benefits come new requirements for employers, including some DE-specific obligations under the State Plan that are different from other states requiring similar PFML programs.

Now is the time to prepare your clients before the Delaware PFML Private Plan application window opens October 1, 2025, and closes on December 1, 2025. Help your clients get ahead so they’re ready to act when the application window opens for a short period of time – the last opportunity to opt for Private Plan coverage in the program’s first year.

This exclusive 45-minute webinar is designed specifically for brokers. Learn how to advise your clients on fully insured private coverage — and position yourself as a knowledgeable, trusted advisor in this evolving space. Help guide your clients with confidence!

In this exclusive webinar we’ll cover:

State Plan vs. Private Plan:

What are the key differences?

Employer Obligations:

Delaware is unusual in that it requires claim adjudication to be done by employers, when PFML coverage is provided through the State Plan. Learn about this and other key obligations employers need to meet starting next year.

Step-by-Step Private Plan Walkthrough:

We’ll guide you through how to help clients apply for a fully insured Private Plan.

Key Deadlines & Timeline to Act:

Learn the critical dates you need to know — including when and how your clients must submit a Private Plan application should they opt for fully insured private coverage.
