ShelterPoint Policyholder PFL Communication Details

With October right around the corner, 01/01/18 will be here before you know it. Communications regarding Paid Family Leave to our DBL Policyholders has kicked off. Please reference the below schedule for when these communcations are expected to take place over the next few months, along with samples of the communications you can then forward to your clients with ShelterPoint DBL coverage.

10/09/17 Email Policyholders* with November annual bills, with email on file Billing details specific to their renewal month. On-going for each month going forward through 2018 View Sample
10/09/17 Email Policyholders* with May annual bills, with email on file Billing detials specific to their renewal month (PFL-Only bill) On-going for each month going forward through 2018 Coming soon
10/10/17 Paper Bills Policyholders* with November renewals & May PFL only bills Cover letter with new DBL/PFL bill details On-going for each month going forward through 2018 View Sample
Starting Mailing Week of 12/01/17 Paper Letter All DBL Policyholders* Cover lettter and PFL Rider  One-time mailing N/A

*Only applies to policyholders who are required to provide DBL.

Check back here often.  As with everything surrounding this new mandate, the schedule is subject to change, and we'll update the chart above with any changes that may arise.
