NY Paid Family Leave: NYSAWW for 2025 Benefits

NY Paid Family Leave: NYSAWW for 2025 Benefits

[paragraphspace]

The New York Department of Labor released its New York State Average Weekly Wage (NYSAWW), used to calculate 2025 NY Paid Family Leave benefits. As of April 1, 2024, the NYSAWW increased to $1,757.19*.

This NYSAWW will be used as of January 1, 2025, to determine PFL benefits.   It does not change the benefit calculation for Paid Family Leave claims that start in 2024.

Learn more about the NYSAWW for claims that start in 2024 here.

Find out how it works if a claim crosses over calendar years here.
