The New York State Average Weekly Wage (NYSAWW), used to calculate Paid Family Leave benefits, has been updated as of April 1st to $1,688.19*.
This increased amount goes into effect on January 1, 2023, for next year’s PFL benefits. It does not change the calculation for Paid Family Leave benefits received or started this year, in 2022.
